I AM CURRENTLY FIGHTING A DUI THAT I DIDNT BLOW ON
A FEW WEEKS AGO MY GIRLFRIEND GOT DRUNK AND SAID SHE WAS GOING TO KILL HERSELF
TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT I GOT IN THE CAR AND WENT AFTER HER TO BRING HER HOME AND I GOT CAUGHT
WHAT DO YOU THINK WILL HAPPEN WHEN I GO TO COURT FOR DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED?

My response:

Two friggin' drunks!

I, for one, will be glad you'll be spending some time in jail and off the roads. Perhaps your GF will have the cell next to yours.

I think you will go to jail. You have proven by your own actions that you do not intend to co-operate, so jail is the only alternative left to the system. You chose it.

I don't think so

I do not know of any state that allows you to drive on a suspended license. A pending DUI is not the issue here. The issue is driving while suspended.
The chance you are talking about is the chance to not get behind the wheel while suspended. You made a mistake, learn from it. Good luck.

The elements of the crime are pretty clear ... operate a motor vehicle while your driving status is suspended or revoked. If those two conditions are met, then you are guilty.

Depending on your state, you likely face a further suspension of your license, fines, and the remote possibility of jail time.
