fixed MIP ticketWhat is the name of your state? Missouri Hi, in August of 2002 I got an MIP-Alcohol in the city of St. Louis at a grocery store. I hired an attorney to fix it. The judge agreed to plea it down to something minor (i forgot if it was a parking ticket or non-moving violation) in exchange for court fee and community service hours. My question is, I have been accepted to medical school and they run a background check. Since the ticket was fixed, when the company performs the background check, what will show? I was under the impression that only the new offense will be on the record? I just need to be sure. Thanks in advance. |

BigMistakeFlSomeone else on here may come along with a better answer, but here's what I did when I was looking for work. I got on the internet with my credit card, and for around $35 or $40 dollars, I ran a background check on myself. No more mystery. |

| Were you ever arrested & booked on the MIP ? If not, it possibly won't show; usu only a law enforcement agency will see the initial charge. Sounds like the dispositon was an infraction & will only show to law enforcement. |
