Florida DUI lawIllinois What are the laws regarding a DUI that is 10+ years and there has been a warrant for quite some time ...the person involved in this lives in illinois, but got the DUI in FLA, he has been arrested in IL several times and they verify the warrant..but FLA refuses extradition. I was under the impression that the issuing State can only refuse to extradite a max of 4 times, before the record has to be cleared, is this correct? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? |

| You were under the wrong impression. The state can refuse to extradite all they want but the charges aren't going away until you go back and face them (or have a lawyer act for you). |
