Florida State 2nd driving on suspended license offense

please tell me what to expect after getting a driving on a
suspended license for a second time, in florida state.
I was stopped at a dui checkpoint, however I had not been drinking. I had to tell the highway patrolman that I had my license suspended. the dui checkpoint was on a city street not on a highway. does that make any difference? Will the judge take into consideration the fact that I was helping my mother. her car had broken down while she was careing for my dad at home, who was dieing of pancreatic cancer. she needed the car repaired so she could take him to radiation, and chemotherapy. I had to help her.
