follow up to can't get my dui settled

What is the name of your state? ohio, the judge recursed himself after calling my employer and the funny thing is he actually saved my job by doing so because the personnel director was extremely upset that the judge lied thru his teeth and told my attorney something completely opposite of there conversation. my employer is on my side now because they now realize that the statements made by the judge and the st. trooper are bogus too say the least. i am upset that i made a big mistake in so far as i did not take the bac, i only did so out of fear that i would not get a true result becase of my acid reflux. the very simple truth is from 5:00 pm to 1:34 when i was stopped i had exactly 6 beers, in 8 and 1 half hours. when is enough, enough? i've lost several thousand in overtime, not to mention lawyers fees and a major strain on my relationship with my girl friend. all because of a judge who has a major problem with me. i've seen people on their thirteenth dui with full privledges, (i met both of them at my dip program, they both produced driver licenses). when is enough, enough? what can i do in the courts to fight this? to anybody that truely can understand what i'm going thru please give me some advice...

My response:

I'm sorry. You must have gotten the wrong impression. I don't think anybody here said they gave a damn about your situation.

Are you wearing one of those T-Shirts with an arrow pointing up that says, "I'm With Stupid"?

I AM ALWAYS LIABLE

obviouly the rules that freeadvice publishes are only intened for a select few and obviously not inforced or persons like yourself would not be permitted on this site. You definetly have an agenda which is fine but as sun tsu states you need to know what battles are worth being fought. Your obviously an opionated little person who probably was beat up on a regular basis in school because of your big mouth. you obviously care less for facts then you do for sensationalism (lets see if i can get a rise out of someone because if i do it makes me important) have you ever thought of working for cnn? hopefully all others on this sight are intelligent thoughtful individuals; maybe you could take a leason from them and become an intelligent person? i highly doubt it and your reply will prove it.

to advise.com if this is what your sight is all about cancel me now. your sight has a great reputation, please don't let little people like iaal tarnish it. are people like me who truely need advice simply cannon fodder? it's your reputation, you tell me.

My response:

Yes, I have a conservative agenda.

Face it. You're a drunk. You're a serious danger to the public. You need to be jailed so you'll think 3 times before getting behind the wheel of a vehicle again.

I would say it had to do with you having a major problem with being stupid. Drinking and driving and girlfriends at 45 are for losers.

I once met the King of France. One girl told me she was Jesus and had her socks tied around her feet to hide the nail holes.

So what happen in your life to make you like this? Did someone you love get killed by a drunk driver, or you just born a jerk? Do you get off speaking down to people? I really hope someone got killed by a drunk driver to drive you this point. At least it would be a good reason to be an *******. America has many DUI because it is how our driving society setup. Without many cities have good public transpiration, compared with Western Europe it provides the formula Drunk Drivers. Only 20% of drunk drivers are actually caught and only 10% of 1st time Duikers actually every repeat the offense. For the other 90% an educational solution is the best way handle this problem with the lowest burden to the tax payer.

As for biggreenbird, he is complaining about abuse of the system. A judge and state trooper lied to his employer, and you called him stupid? Granted DUI isn't the smartest thing the world, but NOT having all the drunk drivers working and paying taxes would be even worse. I'd rather have the 90% of non-repeat offenders out of the jail, and more rapist in jail. We as society cannot imprison everyone. At least have logic to backup your bull. If you think speaking down to people and making witty remarks is going to help stop drinking and driving well you are going to be in for a surprise. This is considering that your agenda is stop people drinking and driving; maybe you just enjoy calling people stupid.

Yeah i am wearing a tshirt that says: boe, zegt de koe.

Drunk driving is a huge problem and kills 50,000 people a year. The liberal solution is to educate them after an offense! Give me a break. You mean to tell me these idiots don't already know it is illegal and down right irresponsible to drink and drive? Please. The penalties need to be so stiff that someone would think twice about doing it. First time offense, 10 years in prison. I would rather pay for that through higher taxes than be killed by one of these fools.

IAAL may have a conservative agenda, witty remarks and sometimes can be downright blunt in his replies, but on this subject he in right on the mark. I to am tired of the whining of drunks that do get caught. To the crime, do the time!

As for public transportation, the drunks couldn't figure out where the bus stop is. Besides, they spent all their money at the bar.

10 years! Whoa Hitler, I think there are better solutions than that... i think in that case anyone who makes a mistake and breaks the law, any law should get 10 years (less any harm to persons). Man this board consists of perfect citizens..., start casting stones boys

I think

I think that any one convicted of drunk driving should have to spend time taking care of either the victims of a drunk driver or the grieving family of a person killed by drunk driving. They should be made to see what their stupidity could cost.

Someone must have hit you in the head with one of those stones!

If I get drunk, load my gun and run around in public, shooting at people, I would be charged with assault with a deadly weapon. What's the difference if I use my car? NONE.

10 years should be a minimum sentence. There's no mistake when a drunk chooses to drink, climbs in a car and drives. These are choices they make, not mistakes. What lead mine did you just climb out of?
