GA DDS never extended my temp license after trial delayed

arrested for DUI in Glynn County, GA in November, 2010. My attorney filed the proper paperwork to have my temp license extended until trial. GA DDS agrees that they received it on Dec. 2, 2010. They suspended my license on Dec. 14, 2010 without my or my attorneys knowledge. Arrested in Walton County, FL in January 2011 for driving with a suspended license. Administrative judge repealed the original suspension on April, 5, 2011. Still can't get a license because of arrest in FL. Lost my job due to no license. Can I file suit against the GA DDS?
