getting license back?

What is the name of your state? Georgia

i was arrested for DUI (.083) and speeding (17 over) this past feb. went to court yesterday and got the DUI charged reduced to reckless conduct and was allowed to plea nolo. the speeding violation was nolled. i paid the fine and have 30 days to attend risk reduction to avoid being put on probation. when do i get my license back, it was never suspended. the county clerk, judge, da, etc. does not know where it is. i know for a fact it's not suspended because i went through a roadblock last month and showed them a state id card (which has my dl # on it) and they ran my number and sent me on my way.

I'm not a lawyer, so there may be a better technical answer to your question. As the simpleton I am, I'd just get myself down to the DMV and get a duplicate license, as if yours was simply lost. The cost in GA is $5.00, and is issued provided your license was not suspended, and you've already verified this.

"A replacement driver's license may be provided at a cost of $5.00. A replacement license is a duplicate of the previous license (no modifications or changes) and may be provided at a cost of $5.00 per occurrence. The replacement license will be valid for the remaining renewal period, or if it's within 150 days of the original expiration date, the license must be renewed for a new term."
