Getting a MIP of alcohol charge dismissed

What is the name of your state?NC

I got in trouble for drinking a beer at a football game and I was told that I could just pay a fine. I payed the fine and now that I am learning more about it I am thinking that I should have gone to court and gone through any community service and/or rehab that was assigned. Is it still possible for me to go back and do any community service or classes in order to get the charges listed as "dismissed"? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
