Havent been convicted of my DUI in almost a year. Is there a statute of limitations?

Havent been convicted of my DUI in almost a year. Is there a statute of limitations?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA

I got a DUI almost a year ago and when I went to court they told me they didnt have my info from the CHP yet and I would receive something in the mail. To date I have not received any thing and I know they have my correct address.

I was told if they dont convict me within a year the DUI is expunged from my record. Is that true?
