Hearing and Court dateColorado A friend of mine had a hearing date for a dui violation. I went with her and after waiting for a period of time, she opened the door where the hearing was to take place. It was empty, then around the corner we saw a note posted"No hearings today hearing officer was ill. Write your name and phone number and we will contact you to scheldule a new date" She immediatly called the number and left a message, a man called her back and said that a new date would be sent to her through the mail. She had a court date on her violation that was 4 days after the original hearing date. She did not relize that she needed to go to that even though her hearing had been cancelled. So now she gets a notice in the mail that there is a bench warrant, and another notice stating there will not be a hearing date and that all violations will be dissmissed. So did the dmv and the courts not communicate? What does she do now? It's amazing to me how often the courts can do whatever they want whenever they want and get away with it. |

__________________ There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution). Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport! |

The DMV hearing had nothing to do with the criminal charge (the drunk driving). She has forfeited anything she might have gotten from the DMV for her failure to show up on the drunk driving criminal charge.

| colorado So it was her understanding that she was to have her hearing date prior to her court date. When the hearing officer contacted her and said she would be reschelduled she thought the above. So now does she only deal with the court? |

Usually there are (or can be) two hearings: one administrative and one criminal.
