How long?

What is the name of your state? PA

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone knew about how long it takes to get something in the mail following a DUI. It's been about 2 weeks and I have not a clue what's gonna happen cause I've never been in trouble with anything at all before. That night the guy took me home and told me to make sure I never did this again, but I'm pretty sure they can't just let you off for a DUI. Anyways it's been like 2 weeks and I was just wondering how long it would normally take if anyone knows.. Have a nice day.

Q: Hey, I was just wondering if anyone knew about how long it takes to get something in the mail following a DUI.

A: Why do you think you will get anything in the mail?

Give us a hint what you are talking about....

...

I was told by other people who have got DUI's and things like that that they got something in the mail like a week later, but then again they had all been taken down to the station. The night I got pulled over for DUI the guy gave me a breathalizer and took me to the hospital to get a blood test then took me home, so I have no clue if I'm going to get charged with it or not. I'd assume I would, but I have yet to get anything in the mail about it and its been about 2 weeks. I'm rather clueless about the whole thing if it isn't apparent.

Call the DA in charge of the jurisdiction where the dwi occured. They wont arrest you over the phone. Or call your lawyer.

thanks

Yeah I think I'm just going to try to be patient and wait for them to contact me if they are going to. I also don't have a lawyer.. I'm a 19 yr old college student who's never needed one, so I don't really want to contact one unless it's absolutely necessary. Anyways, thanks for the advice I appreciate it.
