i have a dwi on my record from dec. of 1997. how long will it stay on my record?

i pleaded guilty, served my time, payed my dues, took my classes, and waited until i was able to have my license back before i drove. not to mention the humiliation that my dwi brought upon me, i also had my car taken away.

so spare me your thoughts that i should be punished forever. just because someone does something wrong does not mean that they should forever be punished.

also fyi.... i have never driven while intoxicated since. i dont even drink anymore.

i've paid my debt.... now will you please answer my question?

3rd Offense (Misdemeanor) Penalties 5 years.
