Friend got sentenced to 1 year in jail, witha recomendation from the court it
can be served in a prison treatment program, Howard St... I know he will have to serve only 6 months, but the court recomdation was never faxed
from court to jail unitl I called his lawyer 6 weeks later. Why and Who should
have done this? Berkshire County Jail & house of Corrections give inmates no
info. on parole or when it should be started. The classes to earn any good time are ususally cancelled, and guards will sometimes wait 30 minutes to unlock cell for dayroom time. Money that was brought down one day did
not show up unitl 24 hrs later, yet today money showed up right away for inmate. Can someone answer thhese questions. I am totally at a lost and have tried to ask many people buyt no will give me a straight answer

What can I tell you , mistakes happen , stuff happens , the wheels of Justice are slow sometimes .
These are some of the things that happen when one violates the Laws .
At least the inmate will have a short sentence , and be counting the days , and hopefully learned a lesson in life .

It is not up to them to give the info.
