Job Application Question/OWI

I have been asked on a job application this question:

Have you been convicted of (1) any felony in the last 7 years or (2) a misdemeanor in the last 5 years that involves violence, sexual misconduct, theft, fraud, or financial-related wrongdoing?

I was convicted of a misdemeanor OWI in Michigan four years ago. Do I have to answer yes to this question or is an OWI not considered any of the above?

Only an attorney can answer your question with legal certainty, but it sure sounds like you can honestly answer, "No."

I'm from michigan and I would check "no". The question is very specific and does not include DUI.
