Jurisdiction Transfer

What is the name of your state? NEW MEXICO

If I am convincted of DWI and I move to another State, will I have the entire decision transferred to the other state or will I be subject to the sactions provided for that state for the same cause?

Do you mean moving while you are on probation or after everything is done with?

I have not even been imposed my conviction. I have the hearing next week but I am planning to move the week after.

Hold on a moment.

Your conviction (any jail time?) and probation terms may not allow you to just move out of state. You may need to obtain permission from your probation officer to move.
