Ok, so they have evidenvce that you have (illgeal?) drug byproducts in your system immediately after driving - and you say its unfair that you have to be tested for drugs because of it.

What about this is even remotely unfair?

Find the exact codes that you werre cited under and then look up the Utah laws. That is where they will explain whether it is treated like a DUI or not.

I'm confused. Are you referring to the over the counter diet pills?!

If so, drug testing is completely ridiculous. This company is no longer manufacturing Metabolite with Ephedra due to insurance issues. Were the ones that you took the new ones, or the old ones?

The labeling on the bottle should tell you something. In order to get around the insurance claims in regard to Ephedra, they are sneakily re-listing Ephedra as "ma haung". Ephedra comes from Ma Haung.

Do you see where I'm going with this? There are many, many people that take these diet supplements and think they are taking 100% natural stuff because the bottle doesn't say Ephedra. Did you know that you were taking re-labeled Ephedra? Is Ephedra illegal in Utah? (Sleeping in the nude is illegal in Utah, so probably!)

Good Luck!

Quackers:

A metabolite is what is left over in your bloodstream after the original drug breaks down. see this link from a pro-drug abuse site which explains a bit.
