Minor in consumption - Wyoming

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Wyoming

My son was cited for Minor in consumption last nite in Wyoming. He is 19 and was a passenger in a car driving in Laramie Wyoming. Neither the driver nor my son had been drinking at the time of the traffic stop.

The officer thought he smelled alcohol and subjected the pair to a field sobriety test (finger follow). The officer did not indicate that either person failed. He also thought my son had red eyes (indicating drinking?). No other field tests were given and no breathalyzer was given. Do we have the ability to fight this, or is the smell sufficient for MIC.
