What is the name of your state? Missouri.
Does a probation officer have the power to allow someone under probation for DUI to leave Missouri to get medical (psychiatric) treatement in another state?
If yes, what is needed to get that permission and is there a time limit on how long the person may be away as long as he is undergoing treatment. This assumes that monthly remote check-ins would occur, with written validation from the doctor and quarterly in-person check-ins in Missouri would also take place.
