I am a teacher in Texas and would like to change districts. The application asks if I have had reeived probation for anything involving "moral turpitude." In the etc. list DUI is not mentioned. I was not convicted but did serve some probation time and the case was dismissed. Would I be required to disclose this under moral turpitude?

DWI is definitely not considered a crime of moral turpitude in Texas. If you successfully completed a deferred adjudication probation then you have not been convicted of anything anyway.

If this was a deferred on the DWI then it must be a pretty old case.
