Moving from WA to NV while on probation

Hey, I live in Washington and I want to move to Reno, Nevada. Does anybody know how it works if im on probation for a DUI and I want to move to a different state? Also what happens to my probation if I am allowed to move? In washington its 5 years, but Nevada only does 3 years of probation for a DUI... thanks.

If you're on probation in WA, moving to Reno will probably put you in a violation state. Usually, you have to get probation and court approval to relocate to a different state. That's what I did.

It's likely that your probation would follow you and Nevada will impose the same conditions. But you'll have to contact the probation office in Reno to verify.
