-If you were offered differed judgment, normally that is in accordance with a guilty or no contest plea.

If you plea not guilty then your court case goes to trial. However; if you plea not guilty then you face the possibilty of a conviction with the full penalties re-instated.

Perhaps this is why I have a hard time understanding what some people write in their responses, and how they come across...

Is this really what you meant to say Tyris? "differed judgment", and "If you plea not guilty then your court case goes to trial. However; if you plea not guilty then you face..."

-If i said it, I meant it.

I you have trouble understanding questions or answers then by all means ask the poster what they are stating. Depending on the person answering, they will probably answer your question.

The Poster has already been to a pre-trial. Due to the fact that the poster is going to trial, I am assuming that the poster plead not guilty.

The poster stated that the judge stated that something was said about Deferred Judgement and how to go about obtaining it. The poster was then answered.

Deferred Judgement is different than "differed" judgement. And then your answer was "if you entered a not guilty plea then..., however, if you offered a not guilty plea... then..."

How was the poster answered exactly?

Advice for the poster - Hire an attorney and what exactly do you mean "picked" for drunk driving?

-If your going to respond and quote someone else then at least attempt to quote their entire posting.

-As I stated in a PREVIOUS post, the poster stated that the judge said something about "Deferred Judgement". Since the poster did not elaborate and I did not have my crystal ball handy, I assumed that they meant that a "plea deal" was offered or mentioned. In order to get said "plea deal" they would have to plea "guilty" or "no contest".

If the poster decided to plea "not guilty", then the court case will go to trial where the poster can face up to the maximum penalty for the crime.

Advice for the poster - Hire an attorney
-WOW...Hire an attorney. I bet that never occurred to the poster to do.

The poster has more that likely already has an attorney and is looking for either secondary advice from people that know what their talking about (which is not you..from reading your previous posts) or the poster has yet to hire an attorney and is looking at her options.

-Any person here can say "Hire an Attorney" and leave it at that. Most responses are from people who are familiar in one form or another in a law enforcement or the legal system whether it is that they work in it or have personal experience from being subjected to it.

So far from reading your posts, you have contributed no usefull information.

Is there any chance you can go back and read your own posts, then my corresponding posts that question your ability to give sound advice by perhaps your grammar or wording? If I'm not mistaking, you spelled "deferred" as "differed" and then also stated that if you entered a "not guilty plea", then entered a "not guilty plea" then.... blah blah blah.

If you are in our law enforcement, then I pity our patrons.

I'm not boasting my wording in my posts, but I do appreciate corrections deemed appropriate if someone boasting execellence in their attempt to correct a questionable issue.

I have an attorney working on my case, and he is a mirror of the "so-called" help on this site.

I'm only trying to help the folks who think this site really respresents attorneys - HELL NO is the answer! Use the net, and find the laws yourself ASAP for many of you!

-AHHH... I spelled a word wrong. Your right, I should be arrested by the grammar police, but we'll keep the grammatical errors in your posts our little secret.

Regardless of the spelling error, the posters questions was answered. If you had trouble understanding it, I would attribute it to your education.

I also noticed that at no time did you attempt to answer the posters question. Why is that? You should have been able to easily with your superior knowledge of the English language.

And yes I am a cop and damn proud of it.

I deal with "people" like you everyday. "People" who love to complain about cops but are the first ones to call them and then complain afterwards about how they handled the situation.

You say your here to help people? Please.....dazzle us with your infinite knowledge of the legal system (other than your drunk driving arrests).

Your diatribe amuses me "little girl" but the fact remains that you are a forum troll and have no useful input to provide.

Go back to your trailer, drink another "half bottle" of wine and try not to get into any accidents.
