What is the name of your state? Washington What would be the proper way to ask for a continuence? And woud 60 days be to much? This is for a dui , and I just can afford a Att now and would not be able to get a public defender. Any help on this would be great. thanks

MY RESPONSE: You go to court, and crawl on your bloodied hands and knees, yelling "Pleeeeeeze, oh pleeeeze, oh pleeeeze, your Lordship! If you grant my request, I will give you three Wishes!"

MY RESPONSE: Go across the Mexican border to find someone who would be a good cook and an attorney at the same time! You know, someone who can cook Frijoles, and spout legal doctrine at the same time!

This is one time that I will disagree with IAAL....

After all, you're the guy who was asking if he could get into trouble if you skipped out to Florida before the warrant was issued....

So, sneak a few of the illegals in the trunk on your way to florida, put a light in the trunk and a few law books, then when you arrive in the Sunshine State, you may have your answer
