Not DUI but alcohol related (hawaii)Hey I have a question, I saw on Judge Judy that this guy had damaged his friends car while intoxicated and Judge Judy said that if he had been drinking their alcohol and not his own it would have been their responsibility, is that true? My full question being if I (not the legal age to drink, im 20) broke a car window while intoxicated (on the owner of the houses alcohol who is over 21) am I responsible for the damages or is Judge Judy right? |

| Judge Judy is an entertainment show based in NY. Does that answer the question as to whether or not it would apply to you in Hawaii?

| no it does not considering she still passes judgment on people as a judge and I would assume there would need to be some truth behind it. unless of course she is allowed to make her own laws |
