which offenseWhat is the name of your state? Wisconsin. My husband got a DUI in 1990 1991 and 1993. It has been over thirteen years since his last DUI. It just was arrested in June 2006 for a DUI. They are calling it 4th offense. Shouldn't some of those charges from previous years be dropped, I thought after ten years some of them came off your record. His past has come to haunt him. ![]() |

| It's not his past haunting him - it's his drinking problem. Three separate previous arrests SHOULD have been enough to send a strong and clear message that he should not drive drunk. The passage of time does not change that driving drunk is illegal and deadly dangerous. He deserves to be treated as a chronic repeat offender. You are lucky he didn't kill or maim someone or himself. |

| Those other offenses aren't charged against him on his driving record, but they didn't disappear. The crimes still occurred. |
