Old DWI, application responseState of MO Here's the situation. Old DWI when I was 20 (like 13 years ago). Got an SIS, completed probation, then record was "closed" No other problems since then. About to apply for permanent medical license. For the past three years have filled out the app for a temporary license, always answered "no" to the question "have you ever been convicted...." and haven't ran into any problems. But now that permanent license app is coming up, for some reason I'm a bit nervous. Other state's medical license applications ask if you've ever been convicted, regardless of whether the case was closed/expunged/etc. I don't want to lie. Since I've been answering "no" to the question, will answering "yes" now get me into trouble? Thanks |

| It's pretty simple... were you CONVICTED or were you given some sort of deferred sentence? You can always call the court and request that information formally. |
