Open Alcohol Container, not in a vehicle

What is the name of your state? Pennsylvania

My question is about open alcohol containers in Pennsylvania. My friend, who is 20 years old, walked outside in his parking lot to make a phone call and the cops issued him a citation for open alcohol container. What are the fines or sentences for this offense in PA and will he loose his license. Also, how should he go about getting an expungement or something of the sort? Should he plead not guilty, no contest, or guilty? What is the best plan of action for his situation?
