Oregon DUI: how can we find out what the fine is?

What is the name of your state? Oregon
A friend was stopped for a DUI on the way back home from having his remaining teeth pulled. He was under the influence of anesthetic. He was ordered to perform community service but he never did it and moved to another state shortly after. There is a warrant out for his arrest in Oregon. He talked to a lawyer who told him he could convert the sentence into a fine and it would cost $1400 total to clear it up. He never had $1400 so he did nothing. Now he is wondering if he could find a way to pay a fine directly without having to pay the lawyer. Who would he call to find out? Thanks.

He could call the courthouse that holds the warrant. Of course, without the attorney to negotiate a monetary settlement, it is highly unlikely the court will settle for the fine.
