OWI, please advice

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Indiana

I'm incredibly petrified with fear, as this is my first offense ever besides a few speeding tickets. I'm 23 and I commute to school everyday here in Indianapolis. I was visiting friends up in lafayette, IN for a purdue football game. We were hanging out at a local bar that afternoon watching the game, having some drinks. Around 10pm we were headed back from the store to my friends house and I was driving my car on a back country road, I don't ever drive after drinking as my mother is serving a year sentence for her DUI's. I thought I would be okay, and I was not. I slid off the road on a tight S turn in the middle of nowhere, through a yellow left turn sign, and in to a ditch. I called a tow truck to come and pull us out, but he would not do it until the police arrived. They came asked if I had been drinking, and I said I had early in the day. I was breathalyzed and had a BAC of 0.13%, he then took me to the station where I failed 2 of the 3 sobriety test, eye and line. He said I was extremely cooperative and would write that in his report. I don't know what to do, I'm a poor college student and will do my best to get a decent lawyer. I just want to know the likelihood that I would have to serve jail time? Repercussions? I cant miss school, as I'm so close to finally getting my degree. This is the worst mistake I could ever make, and my regret is so overwhelming the very thought of beer makes me want to vomit from the thought of ruining my life. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Good. You might learn from this.

You don't ever... but you did??

Better than hitting a vehicle with a wife driving home with her kids, huh??

Gee.... sounds like you were drinking more or more recently than you told them, huh??

Unlikely.

Serious.... to extremely serious. At a minimum, you're decision is going to cost you somewhere between $3000 and $10,000 when it is all done. Fines, alcohol school, increased insurance, attorney fees, etc.
Oh, and you WILL lose your license for a while.

There are penalties applied to an OWI conviction. An OWI for the first time will lead a person to lose their license for up to two years. The minimum loss is set at 90 days. This penalty is separate from the one imposed by the administrative license rules. The first time offender could spend as much as $5000 in fines and one year in jail. If an individual was arrested according to the per se law (BAC above 0.08%) they could pay $500 in fines with the potential to serve 60 days in jail.

For a first time offense, a BAC of 0.15% and higher does not generally result in any additional penalties. However, there are some courts that will impose more time served for those high levels. The greater penalties result from such elevated blood alcohol content.

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!
