Please help me

I live in Colorado, I am 19 and a girl. Two nights ago I recieved a Dui and I took one breath test of .21. I am competly ashamed and embarrassed about what I did. I could have hurt people or myself and I am so sorry and scared. I spent the night in detox an was released the next day. They gave me one test at detox and it was a breathalizer. I didn't have any other tests. Is there any help out there? What can I expect? Any help please???

You should know that it makes a difference if you drink often, bareley ever, are a drunk, etc. I am not sure how you go about establishing that but I know it can work in your favor if you don't normally drink.

Yeah I really dont though maybe once every 2 to 3 weeks within the last 3 months or so. Do you know the process of it all? I dont have much money would it work out really really well to get a lawyer?

OK I'm freaking out I just read that if you bac was .20 or higher automatic jail time is added in.

Not 100% about this, but aren't most states automatic jail time. I was of age when I got mine and had a .12 and had to spend 1 24 hour period in jail. There are websites out there that basically layout your consequences, as I knew mine before the court day on what was going to happen. But sorry, I guess I wasn't also facing underage and an extreme DUI too. Good luck on this, but definitely get a lawyer.....
