Power of Attorney DUI IncarcerationWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ohio My fiance was arrested for a DUI an hour away from home. He won't be getting out of jail any time soon. I have his car that he wants me to sell to put money on his books. How do I get power of attorney to sign the title over with out him being available? Please help. |

PoaHe will need to sign the POA form before a notary. Why would he not be out of jail anytime soon?

PossibleIt is possible that his appointed attorney is a notary. This is a question you'll need to ask that person, and if he / she has any interest in producing and notarizing this document.
