What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Washington

If a person is arrested for suspicion of DUI how likely is it police will find out about earlier convictions for DUI in another state. Thank you for your time and help.

Very likely, and WA ranks very close to the top in terms of penalties, too. You (or whoever) needs to speak with an attorney, ASAP.
