Probation violation in WA after DUI

What is the name of your state? WA

Greetings,

I was convicted for DUI last year 2004 July after a refusal to take breath test and field test.

I have been in Alcohol treatment program and paying all my fines.

Yesterday I received a ticket for speeding 60 in 50mph zone and no vehicular insurance in a friend's car. First - the officer told me I was going 58 not 60. Second - If my friend is able to prove the car is insured will it help?

I was wondering how this will all go down at the courthouse? I.E. part of my probation says dont drive without insurance.. And no driving while license is suspended. Will I have a mandatory sentence of jail time to serve? Damn I know I'm not too smart but I was wondering if I could weasel out of any mandatory jail time.

Thanks

It may help for the lack of insurance ticket, but not the speeder... and definitely not if you were cited for driving under suspension.

It's very possible. You could also "man up" and call your probation officer and be straight and honest with him. Maybe he won't push the issue. If you try to hide the police contact, he will find out about it, and jam you for failure to report it.

We explain legal procedure and give legal advise, not "weaseling" advise.

Before you are allowed to "weasel out of" anything, you are required to turn-in your testicles, put on a dress, and rename yourself "Shirley".

Thanks for not much Curt. Although the "advice" was free

If there is a mandatory sentence for violation of probation for DUI in Wa State what are they? Like do a and get b.

Additionally - I hear some people have been getting house arrest or other things like go to jail at night and back to work during the day. Anybody care to elaborate on how this stuff works or if it could apply if I stand for another lashing from the judge.

BTW - I didnt imply intend or suggest that I was going to hide anything from my probation officer.

Thanks

These, and many other questions, are best answered by your probation officer. He'll be able to give you much more specific answers than we could.

You will be calling or going to see him soon, right?
