Proof of Financial Responsibility

What is the name of your state? California

After a recent DUI I have now been asked to provide proof of financial responsibility (SR22).

However I sold my car shortly after the DUI (almost 2 months ago). Therefore I now do not have insurance as i have no card.

Do you not what i have to file instead? Is it just prrof that i was insured at the time of teh offence?

You need to obtain and keep non-owner SR22 insurance.
