Question about breathalyzers...

What is the name of your state?

As I understand it, implied consent laws essentially dictate that a DUI suspect will either submit to a breathalyzer/blood test or will face automatic license suspension penalties. Do these penalties only apply if you refuse a breathalyzer at the station or blood test at the hospital or do they also apply if you refuse a roadside PBT test? Similarly, do they apply if you refuse to cooperate in the physical roadside test (walk and turn, etc...).

In Michigan: "Implied consent" laws require vehicle drivers to submit to some form of chemical test, such as breath, blood, or urine testing, if suspected of DUI. If a driver refuses to submit to such testing, implied consent laws carry penalties such as mandatory suspension of a driver's license, usually for six months to a year.

And no, this has nothing to do with refusing the field sobriety test.

you can refuse this test in PA..

not the blood test or mechine at the station with out penality.
