Restricted License Question (new law update too)

What is the name of your state? Maryland

What is the process of getting an unrestricted license back? Does one receive in the mail from the MVA any documentation that is needed to take with them to the DMV? Or is it once the restriction is up (45 days in my case), one can go to the DMV without documentation to obtain the unrestricted license?

By the way, I had posted here a few weeks back about a new law coming July 1st. It is true (at least here in Maryland), that all who are on probation (whether a judge has waived probation costs for you), will be required to pay a monthly monitoring fee of $45. AND for those who are required to pay probation costs with each visit, an extra $25 will be added to that cost, INCLUDING the $45 monthly cost. This is a new law passed by the General Assembly (Article 422 I believe). I'm not too happy about this since my probation costs were waived, and now I have to pay the $45 monthly come July myself.

Thanks in advance for any advice about the restricted/unrestricted license question.

All my best!
