Retainin my Drivers license

What is the name of your state? California

I was charged with a DUI.The police later told me that i refused the breathalizer so my license would be suspended for 1 year.when my court date for the DUI came up i went to court and they told me that the case had been droped by the D.A.So my question is, is their ANY way i can retain my license or get a temporary license so i can work.

Contact the DMV.

The administrative penalty for refusing the chemical test is a seperate matter from the criminal case. It is entirely possible to lose your license and still not be prosecuted.

retaining license

Your state may have a 'consent' law. Tennessee does. I was in violation of the 'implied consent' law, and lost my license for 1 year because I refused an alcohol test when requested by authorities. In Tennessee, it is automatic, and there is no appeal of this law, so check to see if this exists in your state.

Just an FYI
