risk losing job? What is the name of your state? CA I got an DUI Labor day weekend. I work in elementary schools and drive to multiple sites. Last year I signed a release form to allow them to check my records with DMV. Do those records get checked regularly or does DMV notify them of any activity? If they find out I have a DUI, can I be fired? |

BigMistakeFlI'm sure you've figured out by now that you pretty much put your job at risk when you drove after drinking. The DMV doesn't notify employers of anything, but there are companies that produce background checks for profit that can notify employers via subscription. You can either wait and see what happens, plenty of sleepless nights, or go ahead and disclose it. |
