which state determines what happens to license

I got a DUI/DWI in the state of Maryland while traveling on business, I live in and have a Florida Drivers License. The police did not take my license. Am I required to report this to the Florida DMV and have them impose suspension and fines or does the Maryland judge determine what happens to my license?
