statue of limitations MN

What is the name of your state? Minnesota

My brother was pulled over and arrested for a dui about a year ago. He never recieved any papers for the court, and has no yet had a court date. His divers license was suspended that is the only thing he has recieved after it happened. I'm wondering if there is a statue of limitations in this case. And if so how long is it?

Also he was 18 at the time of his arrest, I don't know if that matters.

Thus, he's already been charged and no statue of limitations applies.
