Statute of limitation

What is the name of your state? Minnesota. I am wondering what the statute of limitation for a DWI is in the state of Minnesota? I was charged in May 1996.I never appeared in court. There is a $1000 bond in washington Co.

until charged?
after charged and until prosecuted?

Your state legislator or a lawyer up there could tell you OR maybe someone else will come on with some knowledge.

If the charge has already been filed, the statute of limitations has stopped running.

was charged in 1996 May Also a $1000 bond.
