Statute of Limitations - Florida

What is the name of your state? Florida

Friend involved in 2-car accident on interstate 3 weeks ago. His vehicle struck another vehicle. No injuries, minor damage on other vehicle. He had bumps & bruises and totaled his vehicle.

He'd had a couple of beers, so they took a blood test at the E/R. He wasn't ticketed or arrested. Accident report, which we obtained 2 weeks after accident, indicated that results of blood test were "pending".

Is there a statute of limitations for drunk driving/reckless driving charges in the State of Florida?
