Suspended licenseWhat is the name of your state? Tennessee My license has been suspended in Tennessee for a DUI conviction. Is there another state I can live in where I can obtain a drivers license. I am getting conflicting answers. |

| Yes, the state of denial. When you apply for a license in another state, they will run a check on you or ask you for your license from TN. It will come up suspended and then the clerk will laugh at you and tell you to leave. |

| LOL! I'm sorry, but that appears to be true. I think your best bet is to return there and straighten it out. Are you able to at least obtain a "bread & butter" license so you can drive to and from work in TN? How long is your suspension for? Remember, each time you get caught driving now (in or out of TN), you are probably looking at a jail term for driving on a DUI-related suspension, even if you are stone cold sober. Ask yourself...is it really worth it? Was the original morning, afternoon, night that got you into this mess worth it? Time to slow down and think, my friend...this time, do so after removing said skull from said anal cavity, okay? Good Luck! |

All the DMV offices in the various states that I have corresponded with gave the exact same answer. |
