Suspended LicenseCalifornia. I am on probation for a DUI in 2007. On Friday I received a ticket for driving on a suspended license. I did not know my license was suspended. I requested an SR-22 be sent to the DMV, and it was not. When I contacted my insurance agency, they acknowledged the error was theirs, and they are sending me proof of the error. Will the court allow me to show these letters in order to prove I was not at fault. |

| I'm confused. How did you get the license reinstated without the SR-22 (plus paying the fee and showing compliance with the DUI program) in advance?

| Sorry for the confusion. I had an SR-22 from a previous insurance company, and when I switched companies, they did not submit the new one. |

| The best bet would be to get your license reinstated prior to court if you can. If you bring the valid license and the letter to the court, you should be golden. - Carl
