Third MIP in texas

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

I got a third MIP. All of these have been totally rediculous, and i was not even drinking for two of them.
The first one I got when i was still in high school (under 18). I did the deffered program and completed it as requested by the coarts to get it off my record.
This past summer I got another one. Guilty by association i guess, since i was not even drinking. They claimed that i had access to the alcohol... whatever. I went on a deffered program. I have already done the classes and all that stuff, but the 6 month period is not yet over with.

During that time I got another one, from being in a car with a beer in there. Again, i wasnt even drinking, and the beer did not belong to me. tough luck i guess.
The point is that I got this third one while on the deffered "probation" period.
All of these were in different counties.

Can I still complete the deffered program for the second MIP? The court date will hopefully be after that probation period is done. Or does it count the time that you received the citation?

I am just tired of dealing with this stuff... I am 20 years old and trying to focus on college.

Any advice is welcome. Should i get a lawyer to lessen the consequences?

Thanks,

It doesn't matter when the court date is, the incident occured (meaning you broke the law) during the probation period so it will count as a probation violation. That's why sometimes you hear people say "damn I was 2 weeks shy of my probation ending and I got another citation/ticket/whatever." Obviously their court date and final outcome will be more than 2 weeks away (court stuff takes a long time to get going and finalized and stuff), but the offense happened while they were on that probation period so they will be charged as so even if technically their probation period has ended when they go in for sentencing and whatnot.

If you really want to focus on college, I suggest a new set of non-drinking friends.
