Ticket discrepancies for underage DWI

What is the name of your state? NC
Early this morning i was arrested for DWI. The cop gave me a field breathalizer. I couldn't tell what it was but i did see that it was a .0-something (the cop was covering it up.) I am 18 years old. Anyway, the cop took me to the magistrates office to take care of everything there. The magistrate wrote some stuff on the ticket and i noticed that on the part he filled out, he put the incorrect date (September 2nd instead of 3rd.) Can this help me out in any way to get the charges dropped? Also, I never recieved an official breathalizer, just the field one. On the ticket where it says BAC and all that stuff, it is just blank (maybe they just forgot to give me a breathalizer?) Am i just getting my hopes up or do i have some serious stuff here that might help me out?

You think if in your stupidity you had killed someone they would have given a tinkers damn if the date was the 2nd or 3rd? Hopefully they throw the max at you, it may be the only way, short or killing an innocent peson that you learn alcohol and driving DO NOT mix!

False hopes. Serious stuff.

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

Oh, like wow man. That changes the situation like completely.
Unless you blew a 0.00 (you didn't) you were breaking the law.

That must be one hell of a lawyer you got there sonny, one who can not only force the court to open on a Sunday, but also make the DA come in to work is a keeper. Don't lose his number, I'm sure you'll be needing his services quite a bit in the future!
