Traffic court after DWI conviction

What is the name of your state? TX

I was convicted of my first (and last) DWI in July. A week after my license was officially suspended, I received a ticket for an illegal left turn. I was in route to a job interview (unemployed at the time) and the officer was merciful and did not take me to jail. I retained a lawyer for my ticket and he rescheduled the court date a month ago due to his schedule. Now I have a problem, I need to leave town ASAP but my court appearance is tomorrow! I havent been able to contact my attorney.

What do I do? I absolutely have to leave, but I realize at the same time that this is my freedom I'm taking a chance with too. I am not on probation so that is not an issue and will be flying so my occupational does not come into play either. If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it. Will it be okay for my attorney to represent me without me being present, would I be able to reset my court date on such short notice? Am I taking too much a risk considering the timing in which I received the ticket? Please please help!!

It depends upon the type of hearing scheduled.

You need to figure out a way to contact your attorney. Only he/she will be able to definitively answer your question.
