Travel outside the country with a on-going DUI case

What is the name of your state? CA
I have got a DUi on Nov 19.Have a DMV and a court hearing both on Jan 3'07.Have hired a lawyer. He will be taking caring of hearings, etc.
I am planning to go to India in Feb for couple of weeks.I am on H1-B (temporary resident visa).Whomever I have spoken to say that it should be fine to travel.
It is for sure that court wont be taking a decision on Jan 3 itself(arrainment)and if case not dismissed the next court hearing could be 4-6 weeks after Jan3 and my presence is anyway not needed for all these.

Please let me know on immigration laws, issue if any while coming back into US.

Thanks!

Situation with me is slightly different.I am following all the procedures of DMV hearing and court..So didnt violate w.r.t what is to be done after getting a DUI.And it also a petty offense. So not sure if It is a porblem coming back to US when I go to India for a short visit.
