Underage alcohol posession

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Illinois

I bought a 24 packs of miller light at a local liquor store, the employee didn't check for my I.D. (last time I went there I have a fake I.D. since i forgot my fake I gave it a shot to buy liquor) I walked at the parking lot at my friends car, put the beer in the trunk. Then suddenly this undercover cop came out of nowhere. He ask me how old I'm and I said I'm 20(got busted on my birthday June 26th). Then they call the cops to issue me a ticket and the liquor store. The officers said my friends couldn't have gotten a ticket but they let them get away. I was the one who bought the liquor, but could have they gotten a ticket too? if so what would they issue to them?

Basically my argument is they are discriminating the minorities(employee is Indian and I'am filipino) and let my friends get away from a ticket because they are white. I cannot afford to have community service because I don't have a car and my parents are busy.

Feel free to give me advice.

Thanks.

so you are more worried about yelling discrimination than your actual problem of admiting buying the booze and getting caught?

you where the one who bought the booze? lied, had a fake ID... all while being undergae.

how do you know it was discrimination?

I am sure when you tell the judge you can nto afford community service he will listen... I bet he/she hears that all the time and just lets people walk.

be accountable for breaking the law...

you will live and learn your lesson.

Discrimination

I'm sure you can pursue the discrimination charge somehow, but it won't affect the evidence against you for having broken the law.

Could my friends have gotten a ticket too or no? My point, its unfair that they didn't get a ticket and I felt like the officers are discriminating for not giving them a ticket.

Did your friends at any time possess said alcohol? No?

How can you claim you were discriminated against, when they didn't but you did?

I'm just asking a question. The officers said they could have gotten a ticket. The alcohol is in the trunk by the way.

You purchased it, you carried it out to the car, you placed it in the trunk. Your friends didn't do any of those things, so no, it is not discrimination that you received a ticket but they didn't.

Question answered?
