Underage drinking violation

What is the name of your state? Pennsylvania

Two months ago i got cited for underage drinking. I blew a .08 and the judge told me i could take the ARD program and do 4 hours of community service and it would be wiped from my record. I also got my license revoked for 90 days.

I took the ARD courses and paid $150 to take them and paid some court fees. The judge called me a month ago and said i could do the community service on a thursday when I had a huge test at the same time. I called and told them that and I guess they told me it was ok just to bring down proof. I never brought them proof that I had a test, and forgot about thinking they would let me know of a rescheduled date for community service.

I get back to college today and I get handcuffed there is a warrant out for my arrest for "contempt of community service"? She claims I was sent a mail notifying me of this warrant but I never recieved anything. If i had known it was even a big issue like this I would have gladly walked down to the courthouse and dealt with it.

At the courthouse she tells me that shes invalidating my ARD classes, so now I have to plead guilty to the citation or whatever, as well as my record now showing there was a warrant out for my arrest. I was beyond belief and didn't know what to say. I would have gladly dont the community service but shes telling me "Were way past that". AM i gonna get hit with another big fine now for pleading guilty? I feel like im getting screwed over by this having to pay for ARD and not even getting the benefit of it. I feel like im getting punished twice for the same thing. If anyone can help me out, I'd appreciate it Thanks

You did something wrong, got caught, and were punished.
You again did somehting wrong (no Community service), got caught and are now being punished.

Next time, pay attention to the judge and finish your sentence. Bring proof of your test and completion of ARD classes to court. Bring money to pay your fines. Do any new community service immediately.

You were in contempt of the ARD sentence by failing to complete the 4 hours of community service as ordered. Most likely you had other opportunities and put them off and then failed to reschedule them. It is not the fault of the USPS that you failed to complete your 4 hours of community service. Deferred ajudication only deferrs the sentence if you fulfil the sentence and terms of probation in their entireity. You are not being punished twice, you are receiving the sentence you would have received for your guilty plea in the first place. It does not require and BAC for an underage MIP so you were guilty. There are many lessons you need to learn, perhaps now you will learn something.
