Underage DrinknigWhat is the name of your state? Pennsylvania I am a college student and my friend was driving myself and another girl home. The person driving had not been drinknig and i had been and so was the other person. They pulled my friend over for gonig through a yellow light and in the end gave myself and the other girl underage citations. I refuzed to take a breath test and they still gave me a citation. The other girl did and failed. Are we able to appear in court together with a lawyer? Do you think we should mention that the police didnt say anything more about the yellow light and the person driving recieved no ticket, warning, or citation? |

| They must have said something about the light or you wouldn't know why they pulled you over. If they find they've got you on a larger charge, they don't have to pile on a traffic citation. As minors, they don't need the test to prove you violated the law, any number of other signs will tell them. You do know that the refusal will result in your license being yanked for a year and you spending time in jail. Yes you will appear in court. Together is unlikely. Yes you can have and will need a lawyer. |

| Actually, it's my human right to refuse a breath test so why would i go to jail? |
